Gathered at the Sacred Fire
Where the old songs still echo and the ancient stories breathe
The Order of the Silver Rose is a Celtic Bardic Guild rooted in the living heart of Irish Druidic tradition. We are the storytellers and the singers, the weavers of verse and the keepers of ancestral memory — walking the path of the Bard as it has been walked for countless generations before us.
In the old ways, the Bard held a sacred role within the Druidic order — neither warrior nor druid, yet honoured above both in some circles. The Bard was the voice of the tribe, carrying history in song, truth in poetry, and the spirit of the land in every tale told by firelight.
We carry that tradition forward into the living present, honouring the gods and spirits of Ireland, the powers of the natural world, and the sacred bond between community and the spoken word.
Learn Our Story"Three things which constitute a poet: the light of knowledge, the fire of inspiration, and the gift of prescience."

The Three Pillars of the Bard
The arts through which a Bard honours the land, the people, and the sacred
Scéalaíocht
Storytelling
The art of bearing witness to truth through narrative. Our stories carry the memory of the people, the wisdom of the ancestors, and the living mythology of the Irish tradition.
Ceol
Music & Song
The voice raised in honour of gods and spirits, the instrument played to open the world between worlds. Song is the Bard's most ancient and sacred gift to the tribe.
Filíocht
Poetry
The spoken and written verse that gives shape to what is beyond words. Poetry was the Bard's weapon, blessing, and bridge — capable of raising a king or humbling a tyrant.
Rooted in Irish
Druidic Tradition
The Order of the Silver Rose follows the Irish Druidic religious tradition — a living, breathing spiritual path grounded in the sacred lands of Ireland, the mythology of the Tuatha Dé Danann, and an enduring reverence for the cycles of the natural world.
As Bards, we stand at the intersection of the spiritual and the artful. We do not merely perform — we practice. Our songs are offerings. Our stories are prayers. Our poetry is devotion made audible.
Whether you are an experienced practitioner of the old ways or one who feels the first pull of the sacred Irish heritage, the Order welcomes all who come with sincerity and respect.
☘ The Tuatha Dé Danann
We honour the gods and goddesses of Ireland — Brigid of the sacred flame, the Dagda of wisdom and plenty, the Morrígan of sovereignty and fate, and many more who shape the world unseen.
🌿 The Sacred Land
Ireland's hills, rivers, and stones are alive with spirit. Our tradition calls us to know the land, honour the seasons, and celebrate the turning of the year through the great Celtic festivals.
🔥 The Living Tradition
Ours is not a reconstructed relic but a living path, informed by scholarship and deepened by practice — carried in the hearts of those who gather, create, and remember.
“The thorn exists to protect the rose.”
— The Bramble Oath
